Bocaloco Software LLC

About Bocaloco

Bocaloco Software LLC provides development tools to the Java community, starting with XMLBuddy, an XML editing and design tool for the Eclipse platform. Bocaloco's founders have over 30 years combined software development experience.

Bob Foster

Bob is President and Chief Executive Officer of Bocaloco Software LLC. His background includes General Manager for Hardware and Software Architecture, Control Data Corp., co-founder Object Factory Inc. and co-author of Classy, a visual design tool for Macintosh, sold to Symantec in 1994 and later renamed Visual Architect. He was one of the two Architects of Symantec's Visual Cafe, Macintosh edition (the other being his good friend, Rod Magnuson, now with Oracle), and was a principal architect (again, with Rod) of WebGain's unnamed successor to Visual Cafe, recently purchased by TogetherSoft. Bob is a chief executive who still writes code that sometimes doesn't suck.

Carolyn Foster

Carolyn is Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Bocaloco. She was previously co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Object Factory Inc. Carolyn is the "ca" in Boca (in case you were thinking Bocaloco means 'crazy mouth').
